ARMADA TOWNSHIP BOARD Special Meeting Minutes 23121 East Main Armada, MI 48005 January 24, 2023 7:00 p.m. MINUTES CALL TO ORDER: 7 p.m. by Supervisor Paterek. MEMBERS PRESENT: Goetzinger, Job, Murray, Swiacki, Paterek MEMBERS ABSENT: None PUBLIC COMMENT: None NEW BUSINESS: Alternate Building Inspector: Motion by Paterek seconded by Swiacki to hire Dennis LeMieux as an alternative building inspector to be called on at the discretion of the building inspector, Mel McNutt, effective 1-25-23. The two alternates, Jim Waddy and Dennis LeMieux, would be requested to fill the building inspectors’ position during his absence. All Ayes: Swiacki, Paterek, Murray, Goetzinger Job Motion CARRIED Dennis LeMieux is paid at the same fee schedule approved by the board as the township’s regular building inspector and the other alternate, Jim Waddy. All Ayes: Swiacki, Murray, Paterek, Goetzinger, Job Motion CARRIED Supervisor would like to extend condolences to the family of Jim Waddy for the loss of his wife.
