RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ASHVILLE COUNCIL REGULAR SESSION Held: May 4, 2026 Page 1 of 2 The Council of Ashville convened in Regular Session from 6:40 PM to 6:51 PM in the Charles K. Wise Council Chambers at 200 East Station Street, Ashville, Ohio 43103. Mayor Clark called the meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. ROLL CALL Jesse Burke-present; Ron Teeters-present; Jeremy Scoby-present; Dave Rainey-present; Darryl Glick­ present; Jeff Martin-present MINUTES Ron Teeters moved, seconded by Jeff Martin, to approve the minutes for the April 20, 2026 Regular Session as presented. Roll Call: Jesse Burke-yay; Ron Teeters-yay; Jeremy Scoby-yay; Dave Rainey-yay; Darryl Glick-yay; Jeff Martin-yay. The motion passed. LEGISLATION RESOLUTIONS FOR SECOND READING 07-2026 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND CONFIRMING INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS FOR ASHVILLE COMMERCE CENTER SECTION 2 FOR PUBLIC MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION BY THE VILLAGE OF ASHVILLE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY • Mayor Clark read the Second Reading of Resolution 07-2026-title only. VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Bert Cline reported that Walnut, East, and Church Streets should be paved within the next week. MAYOR Mayor Clark reported that rain had delayed the progress at the Westside Park and that the damaged slide at Miller Park had been repaired. PLANNING, VISION & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT Jeff Martin announced the PVED Committee will meet May 11th at 6:00 PM. PARKS Ron Teeters reported that the Men's Club had planted the previously discussed tree in Miller Park. Teeters also stated that he would be meeting with Samantha Keefe to receive updates from her committee regarding accessible park equipment. He concluded by reporting that the Women's Civic Club had requested permission to decorate the gazebo in celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary. COUNCIL COMMENTS Jesse Burke thanked the TVSD and encouraged the community to attend the bluegrass event on May 7th down town in Ashville. Dave Rainey requested a proclamation be drafted in honor of Dorothy Ann Richard turning 100.
