NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Athens, Alabama, will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 200 W. Hobbs Street, on Thursday, June 21, 2018, for the purpose of hearing the following applications and appeals. At this time, the applicant and all interested parties are requested to be present and will be given the opportunity to be heard. Approval of Minutes Case #1 Request of Theresa Speakman for a Variance to decrease the setback from a personal swimming pool from 10 feet to 4 feet (decreasing the setback by 6 feet), located at 905 Box Street in a TN-2, Traditional Neighborhood 2 District. Case #2 Request of Mister Car Wash for a Variance to add a second detached sign, located at 1321 US HWY 72 East, , in a B-2, General Business District. Case #3 Request of Michael Alldredge for an Administrative Appeal/Special Exception to allow for approval of a major home occupation to include transfer of firearms, located at 13625 Rising Run Circle in a R-1-3 Single Family High Density Residential District.
