Ed motioned to accept the amendment. Art seconded. Agenda amendment approved unanimously. Lauren shared the agenda and entertained a motion to accept. Ed motioned to accept the agenda; Randy seconded. The agenda was approved unanimously. Minutes Lauren shared the previous meeting minutes and entertained a motion to accept. The minutes were approved unanimously Minutes Major Discussion (6:00) General Budget Items Daniel Sizemore & Lauren Blais • Major projects: Barber St, Jefferson River Rd, Riverbend Rd • Project funding buckets 2011 (#6), 2018 (#11, #12), 2023 (#25) • Cherokee Rd currently not funded • Riverbend Rd – where does UGA stand? Do they support a MUP or will it impact future plans? (BVN + Art Edison) Cherokee Road Daniel Sizemore & Lauren Blais • Project history and past recommendations/votes • Current status • Next steps - vote on funding source recommendation next month • Daniel will send info for AiM to review and discuss at next month’s meeting Staff Updates (52:00) Park Planning – Todd Miller, Park Planning Coordinator • Greenway Trail Carr’s Creek – 85% complete with concrete trail. Currently working on large bridge across something creek. Estimated completion February 2024 • Firefly Trail Phase III – SPLOST working on obtaining acquiring construction easements (approximately 10 parcels left to acquire) • Greenway Trail Expansion – Oak/Oconee St Greenway underpass. Roadway bridge construction to begin Fall 2024. Dudley Park to Easley Mill.
