The special called meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections was held on Thursday, August
6, 2020, virtually via YouTube (https://youtu.be/EpAg270njoY)
Jesse Evans, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 4:01pm.
Board Members present: Charles Knapper, Vice Chairperson; Patricia Till, Board Member; Willa
Fambrough, Secretary; Rocky Raffle, Board Member.
Board Members absent: NONE
Others Present: Charlotte Sosebee, Director; Sherrie Hines, ACCUG Attorney; Michael Petty, ACCUG
Attorney; Deborah Lonon, ACCUG Asst. Manager, Aletha Perkins, Recording Clerk; Pamela Long,

A. Adopt Agenda
Motion made by Ms. Fambrough to adopt the agenda. Motion was 2nd by Mr. Raffle. Motion
passed unanimously.
1 Public Comment received via email.
Motion made by Willa Fambrough for Jesse Evans to serve as the Vote Review appointee for the Board
of Elections during the August 11, 2020 General Primary Election. Motion was 2nd by Ms. Till. Motion
passed unanimously.

Notice is hereby given that the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections will conduct a Virtual Special
Called Meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 4pm. Interested parties may join by webinar due to

Citizens may address the Board of Elections by written comments to the Board Chairperson and copy all
Board Members prior to the start of the meeting. Listed below are the email addresses.

“I do swear (or affirm) that I will as a member of the board of elections duly attend all ensuing
primaries and elections during the continuance thereof, that I will to the best of my ability
prevent any fraud, deceit, or abuse in carrying on the same, that I will make a true and perfect
return of such primaries and elections, and that I will at all times truly, impartially, and faithfully
perform my duties in accordance with Georgia laws to the best of my judgment and ability.”
