Jesse Evans, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 4:36 pm. Board Members present: Willa Fambrough, Secretary; Rocky Raffle, Board Member; Charles Knapper, Vice Chairperson; Patricia Till, Board Member; Board Members absent: NONE Others Present: Charlotte Sosebee, Director; ACCGU City Attorney, Judd Drake; ACCGU Interim Assistant City Attorney, Sherrie Hines, ACCGU Assistant City Manager, Josh Edwards, ACCGU Assistant Attorney Michael Pettis; Elections Assistant, Lisa McGlaun; Elections Assistant, Pamela Long, Recording Clerk, Aletha Perkins A. Reading of the Board Member Oath of Office [OCGA § 21-2-70] “I do swear (or affirm) that I will as a member of the board of elections duly attend all ensuing primaries and elections during the continuance thereof, that I will to the best of my ability prevent any fraud, deceit, or abuse in carrying on the same, that I will make a true and perfect return of such primaries and elections, and that I will at all times truly, impartially, and faithfully perform my duties in accordance with Georgia laws to the best of my judgment and ability.” B. Adopt Agenda (7:02) Motion made by Mr. Raffle to amend agenda item D, Gordon Rhoden challenging the eligibility of 2, 948 Clarke county voters (12/16/2020) and 4, 493 voters (12/18/2020). Motion 2nd by Ms. Fambrough. Motion passed 4:1, Abstention from Mr. Knapper. C. Public Comments-13 J. Barkan, Athens GA W. Peterson, Athens GA P. Hale, Athens GA P. Oldfather, Athens GA P. Gordon Rhoden challenging the eligibility of 16, 024 voters on Clarke County voter’s list (58:16) Motion made by Mr. Raffle to find no probable to support sustainment of Gordon Rhoden’s 2 (two) challenges to the eligibility of thousands of voters in Clarke County.
