Minutes - Special Called Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration September 21, 2021 @ 4:30pm Due to COVID-19 precautions, this meeting was livestreamed and is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q5jtMWIxUk Bylaws of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections and Voter Registration (bit.ly/accboerbylaws) Chair Fambrough called the meeting to order at 4:31pm. In attendance were Willa Fambrough, Chair; Rocky Raffle, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Ann Till, Member; and Hank Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Elections Supervisor; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Sherrie Hines, Chief Assistant County Attorney; and Lisa Pappas, Assistant County Attorney. A. The Board Member Oath of Office was read by Mr. Shirley. (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-70) B. MOTION by Mr. Raffle to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. Approved unanimously. C. Public Comment was read from Daun Fest, Sheryl Meskin, Paola Barriga, Mandy Mastrovita, Angela Greene, Theresa Flynn, Deirdre Kane, and Jacqueline Elsner. D. New Business MOTION by Mr. Raffle to recess until 5:55. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. Chair Fambrough called the meeting back to order at 5:55. MOTION by Mr. Qadir to conduct advance voting at all locations on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 9am until 7pm. Seconded by Mr. Raffle. Withdrawn by Mr. Qadir. MOTION by Mr. Raffle to conduct advance voting at all locations on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 9am until 7pm. Seconded by Mr. Shirley. In favor: Ms. Fambrough, Mr. Raffle, Mr. Shirley. Opposed: Mr. Qadir. Motion carries. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to conduct advance voting at 155 E Washington Street on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 12:30pm until 4:30pm. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to approve the advance voting times and locations as recommended by Director Sosebee, with the changes we made today. Seconded by Mr. Qadir.
