Minutes - Special Called Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration November 8, 2022 4:30pm 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 Chair Raffle called the meeting to order at 4:36pm. In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough, Member; and Hunaid Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Director; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Audra Taylor, Elections Assistant; and Lisa Pappas, Assistant County Attorney. Also in attendance were three members of the public. A. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. B. Public comment was heard from Mary Catherine Barnes. C. Election Day update MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to amend the agenda to include Incident #1. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. D. Incident #1 MOTION by Mr. Shirley to request that the Director refer the Winterville Train Depot incident to the State Election Board. Seconded by Mr. Raffle. Approved unanimously. E. Announcements 1. Upcoming meetings a. November 14, 4:30pm: regular meeting at 2555 Lexington Road Business expected to be taken up: continued discussion of board chair eligibility, current procedure to be followed when poll workers are unable to fulfill their duties b. November 14, 6:00pm: special called certification meeting at 2555 Lexington Road 2. If a runoff election is necessary, early voting will begin later this month and will end on December 6 E. MOTION by Ms. Till to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. Adjourned at 5:02pm.
