Minutes - Special Called Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration November 17, 2022 4:30pm 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 This meeting was livestreamed and can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4yUj7qLOkI Chair Raffle called the meeting to order at 4:37pm. In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough, Member; and Hunaid Qadir Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Elections Supervisor; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Niki Jones, Assistant County Manager; Judd Drake, County Attorney; and 8 members of the public. A. MOTION by Ms. Till to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. B. Public Comment was heard from 1. Gwen O’Looney 2. Monika Kapousouz C. Consideration of Athens-Clarke County Library for Advance Voting for December 6 Runoff MOTION by Mr. Shirley to also conduct advance voting at the Athens-Clarke County Library at 2025 Baxter Street from 9am until 7pm on Monday, November 28, through Thursday, December 1; and from 9am until 5pm on Friday, December 2. Seconded by Mr. Raffle. Approved unanimously. D. Update on the Risk Limiting Audit MOTION by Ms. Till to amend the agenda to add Item D, “Update on the Risk Limiting Audit,” and update the enumeration of subsequent agenda items accordingly. November 23: earliest day we can mail regular absentee ballots b. November 27: advance voting begins for December general election runoff c. November 28: last day to submit absentee ballot application for December general election runoff d. December 2: last day to vote early for e. December 6: Election Day: last day to vote in person in the December general election runoff F. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. Adjourned at 5:24pm.
