Minutes - Special Called Meeting Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections & Voter Registration December 12, 2022 6:00pm 2555 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 This meeting was livestreamed and can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXUq6mNayWo Chair Raffle called the meeting to order at 6:07pm. In attendance were Rocky Raffle, Chair; Ann Till, Vice Chair; Adam Shirley, Secretary; Willa Fambrough, Member; and Hank Qadir, Member. Others in attendance were Charlotte Sosebee, Elections Supervisor; Lisa McGlaun, Elections Assistant; Pamela Long, Elections Assistant; Audra Taylor, Elections Assistant; Aletha Perkins, Administrative Assistant; Blaine Williams, Manager; Sherrie Hines, Assistant County Attorney; James Davis, Vote Review Panelist; John Marsh, Vote Review Panelist; Jacqueline Elsner, Vote Review Panelist; Jim Taflinger, Vote Review Panelist. A. MOTION by Ms. Fambrough to adopt the agenda. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. B. Public comment was heard from Jacqueline Elsner. C. General Election Runoff - December 6, 2022 MOTION by Ms. Till to approve the provisional ballots as presented by staff. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Mr. Qadir to reject the provisional ballots as recommended by staff. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to recess until 6:35pm. Seconded by Ms. Till. Approved unanimously. Recessed at 6:14pm. Chair Raffle called the meeting back to order at 6:36pm. Chair Raffle read the unofficial election summary report. MOTION by Mr. Shirley to approve the election summary report and certify the December 6, 2022, general election runoff results. Seconded by Mr. Qadir. Approved unanimously. D. Announcements 1. December Regular Meeting Tuesday, December 13, 4:30pm 2. Risk limiting audit at 2555 Lexington Road on Wednesday, December 14, going from 9:00am until completion E. MOTION by Ms. Till to adjourn. Seconded by Ms. Fambrough. Approved unanimously. Adjourned at 6:45pm.
