Adopt Agenda B. Approval of Minutes from the April 9 regular meeting C. Public Comment Pursuant to board bylaws (bit.ly/accboebylaws), a public comment list shall be provided prior to this meeting. Those wishing to address the board will be asked to provide a first name, last name, and an address. The Chairperson will call each person in the order shown on the list. Each person wishing to provide public comment shall have three minutes to address the Board. D. Director’s Report 1. Update on Spanish language translation for May 2024 election a. May goal: signage, sample ballots, letters b. Budget remaining from original allocation for translation project 2. Update on FY25 budget a. As requested by the Director, b. Any changes made by Manager’s Office c. Any further changes made by Mayor d. What happens next E. Old Business F. New Business 1. Discussion of change for November: possibility of relocating the polling place currently found in Winterville Cultural Center (15min - Staff) 2. Advance voting dates, times, locations for June runoff, if necessary (10min - Raffle) 3. Request for ACC Commission to include funding in FY25 budget for additional Spanish translation (15min if necessary - Shirley) G. Announcements 1. Tuesday, May 21: last day to vote in May election 2. Friday, May 24, 6:00pm: special meeting, election certification, 2555 Lexington Road 3. Tuesday, June 11, 4:30pm: regular meeting, 120 W. Dougherty Street 4. If a runoff is necessary after the May 21 election: Friday, June 7: deadline to request absentee ballot for June runoff By Monday, June 10: advance voting begins for June runoff Tuesday, June 18: last day to vote in June runoff H.
