Pam and Jessie will be troubleshooting this. Next CTC Meeting Agenda (Topic Outline): ● Budget: Establish a budget for upcoming projects to determine how much money we need to raise through various sources. - Both individual project budget goals and yearly budget. - Establish a wish list for the committees - Request a CTC maintenance budget from the mayor and commission ● Continue to explore planting location opportunities: CCSD Schools - Shawn will look into this. - Promotions (Donors to plant trees on school properties) - Education Committee? - Have an understanding about funding (be able to communicate this) - Reach out to superintendent, principals, PTOs, etc. ● Formal request for current members to re-new membership (Joe Perloff, Jessie, Tori Goff) ● Educational Short: “Trees in the Urban Forest” [Shawn] ● Forester’s/Day in the Life section: [Rodney] Adjourn:  2 ◆ CTC Interview Workgroup check in (09/21/2020, 12:40 – 12:50 PM): (Team: Shawn, Pam, Rodney, Edith, Jim) ● Discussion: - Need to renew a couple of members in: Joe, Jessie, Tori. - Need to find nominees: two new members by December at the latest. (Shawn has a candidate in mind) - Advertise: Need to assign advertising opps. to work group members. - Revision: Need to acquire input on and revise the interview questions among work group members (Rodney to send out old questions). ● Homework: Assign to members: Advertise for openings. Allow anonymous option for donors ● Organizing a timeline with past projects to post on website - "project completed page" (Tori)  3 ● Find a source for stickers, pencils, thank you note cards with logo. ● Update on Social Media plans- start releasing bios / photos of members. ● Update on Fundraising letter- review it and make list of potential donors to send it to. Adjourn: ◆ CTC Policy Committee Meeting Agenda (09/21/2020, 2:00 – 3:00 PM): (Members – Attendance: Mary Songster, Joe Bates, Rodney 1) Role of CTC in the Planning Departments Tree Ordinance. • Assess public input ACC already has regarding tree management - Athens in Motion - Invision Athens • How can the education portion of the CTC mission be used to gather community input. • Relator CTC Packet • Simple Survey question- phone or alliance with schools- email families?
