GDOT grants - “Transportation Alternatives” funding approach since GDOT grant application complex 3. Synovous - application period 7/1/21 - 9/15/21. “Here Matters” focus is affordable housing in low-to- moderate income areas. (“opportunity zones”). Approach may be reduction of energy costs mitigated by tree planting. 4. Fund-raising: CTC outreach to larger employers in the Athens area, such as Caterpillar, for donations.
