MINUTES UNIFIED GOVERNMENT OF ATHENS-CLARKE COUNTY DEFERRED COMPENSATION BOARD REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, May 26, 2021, 3:30 PM The Athens-Clarke County Deferred Compensation Board held its regular meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 by WebEx and Live Stream on YouTube in accordance with the Open Meetings Act and in response to the COVID-19 Situation. The following were in attendance by WebEx: ACCGov Pension Board Ordinance - Section 1-14-15 Members: 1. Tim Denson, Commissioner and Deferred Compensation Board Chair 2. Blaine Williams, Manager 3. David Boyd, Finance Director, ABSENT 4. Jeff Hale, Human Resources Director 5. John Spagna, Employee Representative 6. Harrison Daniel, Employee Representative ABSENT 7. Dennis Smillie, Community Representative, term begins July 1, 2021 Ex Officio members: Laura Welch, Assistant Human Resources Director Traci Mason, Benefits & Wellness Administrator The meeting was called to order at 3:36 p.m. With only four official board members present, there was not a quorum. Chairperson Tim Denson stated that the meeting would continue but that no official business would take place and that there would be no motions or votes. Secretary Laura Welch informed the board that Harrison Daniel was elected by ACCGov employees to serve as the new Employee Representative on the Board. His term begins July 1, 2021 and ends June 30, 2022. Secretary Welch also informed the board that Dennis Smillie was selected by the Mayor & Commission to serve as the Community Representative. His term begins July 1, 2021 and ends June 30, 2023. Representatives from AIG provided the board with their required Annual Review of the Portfolio. Tim Denson moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Jeff Hale.
