New Business
• Dr. Epps provided the committee with roles and expectations of the elected officers.
• HRC elected new officers.
o Todd Lovett was elected chair of HRC.
o Alejandra was elected vice-chair of the HRC.
• Inclusion Office presented the orientation and training session to the HRC. The training
consisted of topics on:
o Authority of BACs
o BAC Membership requirements
o Rules & Responsibility of BACs
o Role of the Staff Liaison
• The HRC decided not to move forward with selecting a secretary.
• HRC reviewed the 2023-2024 HRC Workplan to get an idea of the type of initiatives they
can focus on.
• Inclusion Office shared with the committee that they will be changing its name to the
Department of People & Belonging starting July 1, 2024, and gave the reason for doing
so.
• Meeting adjourned at 7:01 P.M.
