Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Wednesday, May 22, 2024 4:38 p.m. Clarke County School District Administrative Office 595 Prince Avenue Room 136 The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz; Commissioners Davenport, Link, Taylor, Wright, Fisher, Houle, and Myers. Absent: Commissioners Culpepper, Thornton, and Hamby. The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session for discussion of documents that are not releasable under the Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72(a)(25)(A)) as is authorized by O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(b)(4); attorney/client conference to discuss threatened or pending litigation; and personnel matters. A motion was made by Commissioner Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Houle, to enter into executive session for discussion of documents that are not releasable under the Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72(a)(25)(A)) as is authorized by O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(b)(4); attorney/client conference to discuss threatened or pending litigation; and personnel matters; and to adjourn.
