Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Tuesday, March 11, 2025 11:08 a.m. 120 West Dougherty Street The Mayor and Commission of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz, Commissioners Davenport, Link, Taylor, Wright, Fisher, Culpepper, Myers, and Thornton. Commissioners Johnson and Hamby were absent. The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session to discuss confidential personnel matters pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(b)(2) and real estate acquisition and/or disposal. A motion was made by Commissioner Thornton, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, to enter into executive session and adjourn. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
