MINUTES EAST DOWNTOWN TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE KICKOFF MEETING Wednesday, March 31, 2022 – 2:30pm-4:00pm Members Present: Rashe Malcolm, Fred Smith, Smith, Wilson, Rinne Allen, Charlie Gluodenis Members Absent: Regina Walker, Madeline VanDyck ACC Elected Officials and Staff Present: Mayor Kelly Girtz, Caitlin Dye, Ilka McConnell TAD Lawyer: Dan McRae A. Overview of TADs, How TADs are Financed, History of ACCGov’s TADs, Role and Responsibilities of Advisory Committee Dan McRae, Attorney and Partner, Seyfarth Shaw D. Next Steps 1. Mon, 4/11/22 meeting: ACCGov Assistant Attorney Sherries Hines will offer Conflicts of Interest/Code of Ethics training 2. Thurs, 4/21/22 meeting: ACCGov Planning Director Brad Griffin will share future land use map and zoning for Mall Area 3. Officer Positions (Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary) will be determined at next meeting. E. Determine Schedule for Regular Reoccurring Meetings 1. Committee voted to hold biweekly regular scheduled meetings on Thursdays from 2:30 PM-4:00 PM starting on April 21st. Next meeting will be combined with Newton Bridge TAD Committee so that Sherrie only has to present once. 2. Next meeting date is Monday, April 11th from 3:15pm-4:15pm F. Adjourn 1.
