MINUTES MALL AREA TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, March 29, 2022 -3:30 pm The meeting was held remotely, via WebEx. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Michael Siebert. B. Approval of Agenda Motion: Jennifer Zwirn Second: Vincent Jolly C. Approval of March 22, 2022 Minutes: Will be read and approved next meeting D. Overview of Meeting: ACCGov Assistant Attorney Sherrie Hines Discussed Conflict of Interest/ Code of Ethics as it may apply to TAD, She started by giving a definition of Conflict of Interest / code of ethics. She explained that Athens Clarke County Charter, and Georgia Constitution and laws, have regulation governing this. 1. It was decided to wait until we hear from Director of planning Mr. Brad Griffin, also talk to our neighbors about prioritizing TAD Funds to pay redevelopment cost . 3. Denise Ricks made a motion to schedule the next meeting for April 12,2022 @3:30 pm. Jennifer Zwirn second the motion. Unanimous Approval of the next meeting. E. Next Steps: 1. Meeting with ACCGov Planning Director Brad Griffin  2. Discuss Affordable housing 3. Prioritize TAD Funds to pay redevelopment cost F. Date of next Meeting: April 12, 2022 3:30pm G.
