MINUTES EAST DOWNTOWN TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING Thursday, June 2, 2022 – 2:30 pm The meeting was held remotely, via WebEx. The public could join this meeting by using the following link on their computer, smartphone or tablet: https://youtu.be/ Members Present: Rinne Allen, Charlie Gluodenis, Fred Smith, Madeline Van Dyck, Smith Wilson Members Absent: Rashe Malcolm, Regina Walker ACC Staff Present: Caitlin Dye A. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Caitlin Dye, 2:30 pm B. Approval of Agenda Rinne Allen motioned for the agenda to be approved and Fred Smith seconded C. Approval of April 2021 and May 2021 minutes Smith Wilson motioned for minutes to be approved and Madeline Van Dyck seconded D. New Business: 1. TAD Priorities: Caitlin shared with us the four goals that the Mayor and Commission have set forth for each TAD. We are charged with ranking them according to the priorities we feel are important in our TAD. The four goals are: Public Infrastructure, Housing Opportunities, Economic Development, and CCSD and Youth Opportunities. We discussed how each goal was important to us and we also discussed other potential partners (i.e., CCSD) as well as other funding sources (TSPLOST). After discussing, we decided to prioritize the goals as follows: 1. Housing Opportunities, 2. CCSD and Youth Opportunities, 3. Economic Development, 4. Public Infrastructure. 2. Officers: We discussed the open officer positions on our committee. Smith Wilson will serve as Vice- Chair, in addition to Rinne Allen as secretary. Caitlin will serve as Chair. 3. Meeting Schedule: We also discussed moving to a quarterly meeting schedule, now that we have completed our orientation meetings. We set our next meeting for September. Rinne moved to approve that schedule and Charlie seconded. E. Date for Next Regular Meeting: Thursday, September 8 at 9 a.m. F. Adjourn @ 3:13 pm
