MINUTES LEXINGTON TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING Thursday, July 1, 2021 – 5:30 pm Location: ACC Police Department, 3035 Lexington Road Members Present: Cshanyse Allen, Rhett Butler, Shane Dekle , Mack Duncan, Mae Walter Members Absent: Brantley Colbert Staff Present: Ilka McConnell, Economic Development Director Guests Present: Derek Doster, Project Administrator and Madhuri Angadi, Assistant Project Manager – ACC SPLOST Department A. Call to Order as a Regular Meeting: Mack Duncan, Chair @ 5:35 pm B. Approval of Agenda Motion to Approve: Rhett Butler Second: Cshanyse Allen Unanimous Approval of agenda C. Approval of Minutes Motion: Shane Dekle Second: Cshanyse Allen Unanimous Approval of minutes D. Old Business: Ilka McConnell provided information on calculating affordable housing. E. New Business: Presentation of Lexington Road Corridor Planning Committee Efforts, Including Q & A with Committee: Derek Doster, ACCGov SPLOST Dept. a. Derek Doster presented notebooks with detailed information on Potential Lexington Highway TSPLOST projects including estimated cost. b. Doster also shared information concerning the GA DOT plans for road improvements within the Lexington Road Corridor. c. The Lexington Road Corridor User Group is working on a presentation of their recommended projects for the Mayor & Commission Work Session scheduled for August 10, 2021. Doster will share that information with the TAD Committee. F. New Business: Does the Committee have interest in presentation / information from ACCGov Transportation & Public Works regarding M & C approved concept plans for multi-use path project along Cherokee Road?  a. The Committee would like to postpone hearing from ACC Gov Transportation and Public Works at this time and continue discussing and brainstorming of needs within the TAD. G.
