MINUTES LEXINGTON TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT (TAD) ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING Thursday, August 5, 2021 – 5:30 pm The meeting was held remotely, via WebEx. Approval of Minutes Motion: Rhett Butler Second: Cshanyse Allen Unanimous Approval of minutes A. New Business: Conflict of Interest overview training, Athens-Clarke County Attorney’s Office a. Ilka McConnell discussed the TAD Lexington Road Sewer Expansion for Johnson Drive and Indiana Drive and Public Utilities Service Delivery Plan. Ilka also talked with ACC Housing Community Development Director regarding usage of CDBG funds to assist homeowners in obtaining assistance connecting to ACC public sewer. b. Sherrie Hines from the ACC Attorney’s office answered questions and provided an informative PowerPoint presentation to the committee regarding conflict of interest both real and perceived. (The slide presentation was email to each committee member for future reference.) B. Old Business: Continued discussion and brainstorming on needs within the TAD a. Ilka McConnell provided information for the August 5th meeting on the following items: ACC Retail Marketplace Profile Report and Retail Fact Sheets. In the interest of time, these items were tabled for discussion until the August 19th meeting.  b. Other items the committee thought were important topics to discuss are: Number of committee members, Rotating of membership and by-laws for TAD Committees. C.
