Motion to award Bid Item 24-137 Roof Service & Repair for the Augusta Fire Department to Vertex Roofing Company and authorize the Mayor to sign all appropriate documentation. Motion to approve. Motion made by Mason, Seconded by Williams. Voting Yea: Smith-McKnight, Mason, Williams Motion carries 3-0. 2. Motion to approve the minutes of the Public Safety Committee held on February 27, 2024. Motion to approve. Motion made by Mason, Seconded by Williams. Voting Yea: Smith-McKnight, Mason, Williams Motion carries 3-0. ADDENDUM ITEM 1. Receive as information the emergency purchase of the Intercom Control Safety and Security System for H and I pod of the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in the amount of $756,907 to Willo Products Company. (Requested by the Administrator on behalf of Sheriff Roundtree) It was the consensus of the committee that this item be added to the agenda without objection. Motion to approve receiving this item as information. Motion made by Williams, Seconded by Mason. Voting Yea: Smith-McKnight, Mason, Williams. Motion carries 3-0.
