CALL ZONING MEETING TO ORDER Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance – Steve Collins Welcome and Roll Call – Chairman Joe Allred welcomed all in attendance and called roll. Those in attendance were Board Members Mark Redmond, Robin Moran, Kay Burgess, Steve Collins, Secretaries Kaelyn Meyers, and Anissa McDonald. Conflicts of Interests -- All Planning and Zoning Members who have a conflict with any item on the agenda please state concern. o No conflicts were stated. B. APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to approve the agenda as presented, 2nd by Board Member Robin Moran. All in favor. APPROVAL OF PAST MINUTES ➢ June 3, 2025 Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to approve the minutes of June 3, 2025 as corrected, 2nd by Board Member Steve Collins. All in favor. PUBLIC HEARING – Title 14.20.010, 020, Title 15.03.080 Site Plan Development Bonding 6:15 p.m. ➢ Motion to open Public Hearing Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to close our regular meeting and open public hearing, 2nd by Board Member Robin Moran. The updates include the bonding for new development projects. ➢ Public Comments No public comments were made. ➢ Motion to close Public Hearing Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to close public hearing and open our regularly scheduled meeting, 2nd by Board Member Kay Burgess. All in favor. Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to approve the Resolution Amending Title 14.20.020 - Site Plan Development Bonding, Amend Section 14.20.010 and 15.03.080(I) – Site Plan Review Bonding of the Ballard City Municipal Code and send to City Council without modifications, 2nd by Board Member Kay Burgess. PUBLIC HEARING – Title 15.06.130 Storage Units Setback 6:25 p.m. ➢ Motion to open Public Hearing July 1, 2025 2  Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to close our regular meeting and open public hearing, 2nd by Board Member Robin Moran. All in favor. YEA NAY Board Members Mark Redmond Robin Moran Kay Burgess Steve Collins Joe Allred Chairman Joe Allred said that this is changing side setbacks on storage units in the Commercial zones from 10 feet to 3 feet. The changes will help alleviate any discarding of garbage and debris in that 10 foot area behind the units. ➢ Public Comments No public comment. ➢ Motion to close Public Hearing Motion made by Board Member Mark Redmond to close public hearing and open our regularly scheduled meeting, 2nd by Board Member Robin Moran.
