PARKS & RECREATION CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes February 12, 2024 5:30 PM 1 Government Ctr., BALLWIN, MO 63011 THE MINUTES ARE PREPARED IN SUMMARY TO REFLECT THE OVERALL DISCUSSIONS, NOT VERBATIM QUOTES The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Haug at 5:30 p.m. Roll Call Present Absent Chairwoman Pamela Haug Jimmy Terbrock Sue Pyles Megan Gibson Elizabeth Davis Sam Biver Sandi Grassi Susan Harris Pat McDermott Alderman Mark Stallmann MINUTES N/A PRESENTATION City Administrator Eric Sterman made a presentation to the committee explaining four design options for a renovated and expanded public works and parks maintenance facility in Vlasis Park. City Administrator Eric Sterman recommended option B as the most favorable to the City based on cost, maximizing greenspace, and other factors. The committee had discussion and general consensus was that option B was the most favorable to the City. Parks Director Chris Conway discussed options for tennis and pickleball court repair and renovation. No action was taken. The motion was passed by unanimous affirmative voice vote and the meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
