VILLAGE OF BARNEVELD BOARD MEETING Monday, December 2nd, 2024 Barneveld-Brigham Municipal Building 403 E. County Hwy ID, Barneveld, WI 53507 DRAFT SUBJECT TO APPROVAL 1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President John Forbes. Public Notice has been given and agendas were available. 2. ROLL CALL: Scott Leahy, Rhonda Hazen, Chris Valcheff, Mike Peterson, and John Forbes. Don Hugill and Brandon Watson were absent. 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Motion by R Hazen/C Valcheff to approve the minutes of the November 7 th, 2024 Village Board Meeting minutes. Motion carried. 5. No informal public comment 6. Rick Mueller, Mueller Graphics and Chuck Fondrie, Hyoco LED Displays gave updates and displayed what the LED sign would look like for memorial park. • Motion by S Leahy/R Hazen to approve signs for Memorial Park with Mueller Graphics, not to exceed $35,000. Motion carried. 7. Scott Chilson, MSA Professional Services • Motion by M Peterson/J Forbes to approve the Professional Services Agreement for Lead Service Line Assistance with an estimated fee of $7,500.00. Motion carried. • Motion by S Leahy/M Peterson to approve Pay Request #3 in the amount of $384,987.50 for Portzen Construction Inc for Wellhouse #3. Motion carried. • Motion by C Valcheff/R Hazen to approve Change Order #1 for Wellhouse Modifications. Motion carried. • Motion by C Valcheff/S Leahy to approve Work Change Directive #1 – LP/NG Generator MEP Connection for Wellhouse #3 and Ground Reservoir. Motion carried. • Update on Change Order #2 for Wellhouse #2 Improvements will be brought back in January 2025. • Motion by M Peterson/S Leahy to Amend Resolution 24-03 Approving First Amendment to Project Plan for TIF #2.
