aforementioned date in the City Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas to consider the

A) City of Bastrop, Texas was named a 2014 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor
of its commitment to effective urban forest management.

A. CONSENT AGENDA - All the following items are considered to be self-explanatory by the Council and will be
enacted with one motion; there will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Members so requests.

A.1 SECOND READING - Consideration, discussion, and possible A.1 6 Job
action on the second reading of an Ordinance of the City of Bastrop,
Texas, amending Ch. 13 “Utilities” to add Article 13.11 “Reclaimed
Water” and Article 13.12 “Transportation of reclaimed water”;
establishing conditions & restrictions related to reclaimed water;
establishing penalties for the violation of provisions for enforcement of
these restrictions; providing a saving clause; providing for publication;
providing severability and an effective date.
A.2 Approval of the statutory denial, for a period of 180 days from the A.2 44 McCollum
date of Council action on this request for the 969 Final Plat located
on Highway 969 & Wilbarger Bend Road being approximately 51.02
acres out of the Josiah Wilbarger Survey #70 within Area A of the
City of Bastrop, Texas Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).
A.3 Approval of the statutory denial, for a period of 180 days from the date of A.3 46 McCollum
Council action on this request for the Amending Plat of Lots 9-A and 10-
A, Piney Ridge Subdivision, Section 2 Replat, combining two residential
lots into one, within the city limits of Bastrop, Texas.

D.1 Approval of the SECOND READING of a proposed ORDINANCE of D.1 48 McCollum
the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending City of Bastrop,
Texas Zoning Ordinance No. 99-37, as amended,: adding new section
Exhibit “B” to establish a downtown Form Based Code Zoning
(‘FBC’) District; providing definitions, uses, and standards for
development within the FBC District; providing for a penalty for
violations; providing for publication; and providing an effective date.
D.2 Consideration, discussion and possible action on approval of Bastrop D.2 146 Stovall
Arts in Public Places 2015 Art Transformer Project selection of mural
artwork and anticipated transformer site locations. Presenter D. Johnson
D.3 Consideration, discussion and possible action on the Award of Contract D.3 150 Talbot /
Brandon/
replacing the Water & wastewater line on Spring Street, Haysel, and Job
Walnut Street to Facilities Rehabilitation INC. for the base price of $
602,210.00.

Hotel Motel Funding Calendar for funding requests for FY 2016.

D.6 Consideration, discussion, and possible action on the ADOPTION of a D.6 162 Kesselus
RESOLUTION to select the proxy to represent the City of Bastrop,
Texas at the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting to be held
at 2:30 pm, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Sons of Hermann Hall, 1031
CR 223, in Giddings, Texas.
D.7 Consideration, discussion, and possible action on the approval and D.7 167 Talbot
payment of the proposed ARTWORK OPTIONS as submitted to the
City of Bastrop by the Texas Department of Transportation for the
State Hightway71/Tahitian Village Overpass Project.
D.8 Consideration, discussion, and possible action on a request from the D.8 169 Talbot
Bastrop Homecoming Committee for a VARIANCE to Section 8.02.001
of the City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances to allow for the Sale of
Alcoholic Beverages at Mayfest Park.
E. EXECUTIVE SESSION
E.1 The Bastrop City Council will meet in a closed/executive session pursuant to the Texas
Government Code, Chapter 551, et seq, to discuss the following:
1. SECTIONS 551.071(1) (A) & 551.071 (2): Consultation with Attorney concerning: (1)
potential, pending, threatened, and/or contemplated litigation or claims, including but not
limited to; and/or matter upon which the Attorney has a duty and/or responsibility to
report to the governmental body, and/or any other matters posted on the agenda.

exchange, lease, disposition, or value of real property

E.2 The Bastrop City Council will reconvene into open session to discuss, consider and/or take
any actions necessary related to the executive sessions noted herein, or regular agenda items,
noted above, and/or related items.
