Bastrop City Council Special Meeting/Workshop Notice March 31, 2015 at 5:30 pm Pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Ch. 551, the City Council of Bastrop, Texas will hold a Special Meeting/Workshop at the Bastrop City Hall Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street in Bastrop, Texas to consider the following matters: I. CALL TO ORDER II. WORKSHOP SESSION - The Bastrop City Council will adjourn the Special Session and convene into a Workshop Session to discuss: A. Presentation, consideration, and discussion on a General Bond Election in November 2015 including, but not limited to information and input related to bond and finance issues, such as: A.1 Council, City Manager, Director and staff input on potential bond ‘project lists’ and hierarchy of same; A.2 City operations, staffing levels, departmental and community needs, financial issues, status of historical bonding, previously bonded City projects; A.3 Comprehensive Plan impact, utility issues, project requests; A.4 Bond election issues; and A.5 All other matters determined by the Council and City Manager to be pertinent to the Council’s work, evaluation and decision making regarding future bond issuance and management of City funds/taxes, including but not limited to use of Hotel Occupancy Tax Funds, distribution of Tier Three (3); possible support for a proposed YMCA Building; and shelter to be constructed with HUD Grant. III. THE BASTROP CITY COUNCIL WILL ADJOURN THE WORKSHOP SESSION. IV. THE BASTROP CITY COUNCIL WILL RECONVENE INTO SPECIAL SESSION TO TAKE ANY NECESSARY ACTION(S) RELATED TO THE WORKSHOP SESSION PRESENTATIONS, CONSIDERATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS. V.
