ADJOURNMENT Kelly Dawson made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 700and seconded by Dorothy Skarnulis. The Bastrop Parks and Public Tree Advisory Board met in Cl Regular Meeting on Thursday, JUIy 11, 20191 at 6: 00 p. m. at the Bastrop Power & Light Conference Room, 1209 Linden Street Building 2, Bastrop, TX. Members present were Vice Chair Barbara Wolanski,7 Betty Rucker, Kelly Dawson, Dorothy Skarnulis, Jamie Creacy, and Margaret Robinson. Staff present were David Junek, Curtis Hancock, Heather Ambrose, and YMCA Director Terry Moore, At 6: 11 p. m. Vice Chair Barbara Wolanski called the meeting to order with a quorum being present. Chairperson Jimmy Crouch, Youth Advisory member Saray Jimenez Colmenero and City Council Liaison Dock Jackson were not in attendance. 2A. Parks and Recreation Report Presentation was made by Parks Superintendent David Junek. Handouts of the Monthly Operational report were provided. 2B. Bastrop State Park Report Presentation was made by Board Member Jamie Creacy. An item to note was the Texas legislative session passed the sports tax for parks and the measure will be on the ballot for vote in November. 2C. Bastrop YMCA Report Presentation was made by YMCA Director Terry Moore. 2D. Youth Member Report Saray Jimenez Colmenero was not in attendance. 2E. Bird City Coalition Report Presentation was made by Dorothy Skarnulis. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS None. 4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 4A. Consider action to approve Parks and Public Tree Advisory Board minutes from the June 6, 2019 regular meeting. Motion was made by Board Member Kelly Dawson and seconded by Board Member Jamie Creacy.
