Roll Call for Board Members: Stan Chubinski, Andy Harrison, Robert Whitfield

Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 90 E Willard and 27 Battle Creek Ave
Approval of Minutes: Mr. Whitfield made a motion to approve the Minutes from October 21, 2015
and November 18, 2015, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Approved

Dangerous Buildings Show Cause Hearings:
a. 229 Cherry (House)
Issue#EN10-00063
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, Edwin Wood, present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
stated the house has been vacant over 180 days, lacks maintenance, was
damaged by fire and lacks utilities. Mr. Wood stated he bought the
property at the county auction. Mr. Wood stated when he bought the
property he was told there were no violations. Mr. Wilkinson stated the
property would need permits to make the necessary repairs. Mr.
Chubinski made a motion to affirm the property as a dangerous building,
seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Affirmed

Property owner, Mildred Mallard, present. Todd Nowicki, Senior Code
Officer, stated the violations were found during a rental complaint
investigation. Ms. Mallard stated she has not been into the property to
see the damage. Ms. Mallard stated her husband had been ill and the
tenant had called her with the problems but has since become hostile.
Ms. Mallard stated an eviction is in process. Mr. Chubinski made a motion
to grant an extension to February 16, 2016, seconded by Mr. Harrison.
Extension Granted.
2. 27 Battle Creek Ave

Property owner, Mildred Mallard, present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code
Officer, stated there were interior violations discovered during a rental
renewal inspection. Ms. Mallard stated she is trying to make the repairs
but the tenant has people there all the time. Ms. Mallard stated some
work has been done. Ms. Mallard also stated the tenant has too many
people living with her. Mr. Whitfield made a motion to grant an extension
to January 19, 2016, seconded by Mr. Harrison. Extension granted.
4. 155 W Rittenhouse

Property owner, not present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code Officer, stated
there are several violations at this property all of which were found during
a rental inspection. Mr. Chubinski made a motion to affirm the order as
written, seconded by Mr. Whitfield. Affirmed.
5. 92 Upton
Issue#EN15-04950
Code Compliance Officer: Elijah Martin
Property owner, Leotis McNutt, present. Elijah Martin, Senior Code
Officer stated the violations were noted during a rental inspection. Ms.
McNutt stated her husband has medical issues and is requesting more
time. Ms. McNutt stated some work has been done. Mr. Chubinski made
a motion to grant an extension to January 19, 2016, seconded by Mr.
Whitfield. Extension Granted.

Board and Staff Members Comments: Mr., Chubinski noted he would be out of town for the
January 20, 2016 meeting.
