Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 46 Keith
Approval of Minutes: Ms. Werner made a motion to approve the minutes from the October 18, 2017
meeting, seconded by Mr. Blair.

Dangerous Buildings Show Cause Hearings:
a. 110 N East Ave (House)
Issue#EN17-08490
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, Atty Gary Besington, present. Don
Wilkinson, Building Official, stated the property has
been vacant and has structural damage that will
require repairs. Mr. Besington stated the bank
intends to sell the property. Mr. Wilkinson stated the
building is not secured. Mr. Blair made a motion to
affirm the property as a Dangerous Building,
seconded by Mr. Sims. Affirmed.

Official, stated the property is vacant and lacks
utilities and lacks maintenance. Mr. Wilkinson
recommended affirming the property as a
Dangerous Building. Ms. Werner made a motion to
affirm the property as a Dangerous Building,
seconded by Mr. Sims. Affirmed

Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building
Official, stated the property is vacant and lacks

damaged by fire. Mr. Wilkinson recommended

Blair made a motion to affirm the property as a
Dangerous Building, seconded by Mr. Whitfield.

Official, stated the property has been heavily
damaged by fire. Mr. Wilkinson recommended
affirming the property as a Dangerous Building. Mr.
Whitfield made a motion to affirm the property as a
Dangerous Building, seconded by Mr. Sims. Affirmed

Issue#EN15-05122
Code Compliance Officer: Tom Engels
Property owner, not present. Tom Engels stated the
violations have not been corrected and recommended
affirming the order as written due to no owner present. Mr.
Whitfield made a motion to affirm the order as written,
seconded by Mr. Sims. Affirmed.
Property owner Kermieka Scott was slightly late to the
meeting. Ms. Scott noted she just purchased the home in
June of 2017 but she needs more time to complete the
items. Ms. Scott stated she would like to be done by the
summer of 2018. Mr. Blair made a motion to rescind the
original motion to affirm the property, seconded by Mr. Sims.
Rescinded. Mr. Blair then made a motion to grant an
extension to February 20, 2018, seconded by Mr. Sims.
Extension granted.
2. 46 Keith Dr

Code Compliance Officer: Yolanda Johnson
Property owner, Jeffrey Streb, present. Yolanda Johnson,
Code Officer, stated the property violations were noted from
a rental inspection. Mr. Streb stated the work had been
started but he needed more time. Ms. Johnson
recommended a thirty day extension. Mr. Blair made a
motion to grant an extension to January 16, 2018, seconded
by Ms. Werner. Extension granted.

Code Compliance Officer: Yolanda Johnson
Property owner, Eric Moore, present. James Belmore, Code
Officer, stated the violations were exterior in nature. Mr.
Moore stated he needs more time for better weather. Mr.
Moore plans to repair the roof in the spring. Mr. Moore has
repaired around the chimney. Mr. Blair made a motion to
grant an extension to January 16, 2018, seconded by Mr.
Whitfield. Extension granted.
5. 91 W Grand Circle
Issue#EN17-12101
Code Compliance Officer: Yolanda Johnson
Property owner, not present. James Belmore, Code Officer,
stated the violations were exterior and noted a contractor
has pulled a permit to repair the roof. Mr. Blair made a
motion to grant an extension to June 16, 2018, seconded by
Mr. Sims. Extension granted.
2018 Meeting Dates: Mr. Blair made a motion to approve the meeting dates for 2018, seconded by
Mr. Sims. Approved.
Public Comments: none
Board and Staff Members Comments: Mr. Chubinsky noted the Board will vote for Chairperson in
January. Mr. Whitfield wanted clarification on roof issues.
