Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated the house was damaged by fire and recommended affirming the property as a Dangerous Building. Ms. Werner made a motion to affirm the property as a Dangerous Building, seconded by Mr. Sims. Affirmed. All Yes b. 209 Parkway (House) Issue#EN18-00017 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Official, stated the house was vacant over 180 days and recommended affirming the property as a Housing Board of Appeals May 16, 2018 Page 2 of 7 Dangerous Building. Ms. Rainey stated she is trying to make repairs. Ms. Rainey requested until the end of summer. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an extension to July 17, 2018, seconded by Ms. Werner. Eric Morris, Senior Code Officer, stated the violation was exterior in nature. Mr. Decker stated he is seeking help to repair the driveway. Mr. Morris noted the driveway could be repaired with gravel or crushed concrete. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an extension to July 17, 2018, seconded by Ms. Werner. Extension granted. All Yes 3. 52 W Wabash Issue#EN18-00223 Code Officer: Todd Nowicki Property owner, not present. Todd Nowicki, Senior Code Officer, stated the violations was a complaint about the retaining wall. Mr. Sims made a motion to affirm the property as written, seconded by Ms. Werner. Affirmed. All Yes 4. 243 Battle Creek Ave Issue#EN18-02593 Code Officer: James Belmore Property owner, Amy Burkhart, present. James Belmore, Code Officer, stated the violations were exterior in nature. Ms. Burkhart stated the roof is not leaking and she has applied for assistance. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an extension to August 14, 2018, seconded by Ms. Werner. Extension granted. All Yes 6. 52 Annapolis Issue#EN18-01158 Code Officer: James Belmore Property owner, Amber Terry for Elizabeth Terry, present. James Belmore, Code Officer, stated the violations were exterior in nature. Mr. Belmore has been in contact with the property owner. Ms. Terry stated they are getting roofing estimates and they applied for the paint program. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an extension to August 14, 2018, seconded by Ms. Werner. Extension granted. James Belmore, Code Officer, noted the violations were exterior in nature. Ms. Congdon stated she plans on replacing the windows and wanted to side the house. All Yes 11. 42 Arthur Issue#EN18-01036 Code Officer: Yolanda Johnson Property owner, Harry Johnson, present. James Belmore, Code Officer, stated the violations were exterior in nature. Mr. Johnson noted he has the scrapping done but weather has been bad. Mr. Sims made a motion to grant an extension to June 19, 2018, seconded by Ms. Werner. Extension granted.
