MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Jennifer Cappell, Judith Mudge, Gordy Vogt MEMBERS ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Chief Larry Hausman, Susan Bedsole, Vicki Houser, and Russell Claggett CALL TO ORDER: President Cappell called the meeting to order at 4:02 PM and recognized that a quorum was present. NEW BUSINESS 1. Certification of the next two candidates on the “2011 Fire Captain Eligibility List” (Mark Burkart and James Elliott) President Cappell stated the first order of business was to certify the next two candidates on the “2011 Fire Captain Eligibility List.” President Cappell opened the floor for public comment. A motion was made by Comm. Mudge, supported by Comm. Vogt, to certify the next two candidates on the “2011 Fire Captain Eligibility List” (Mark Burkart and James Elliott). All yes. Motion carried. 2. Certification of the next two candidates on the “ 2011 Fire Lieutenant List” (Quincy Jones and Scott Barnes) President Cappell stated the next order of business was to certify the next two candidates on the “2011 Fire Lieutenant Eligibility List.” President Cappell opened the floor for public comment. A motion was made by Comm. Vogt, supported by Comm. Mudge, to certify the next two candidates on the “2011 Fire Lieutenant Eligibility List” (Quincy Jones and Scott Barnes). All yes. Motion carried. 1 PUBLIC COMMENTS President Cappell opened the floor for public comments. There were no public comments. COMMISSION COMMENTS There were none.
