MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Samuel Gray and Tim Martinovich MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioner Judith Mudge STAFF PRESENT: Victoria Houser, Dave Schmaltz, Martin Erskine CALL TO ORDER: Commissioner called the meeting to order at 4:01 PM and recognized that a quorum was present. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS Clerk Houser reported an email communication from Brian Johnson requesting to be removed from the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List.” APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. A motion was made by Comm. Martinovich, supported by Comm. Gray, to approve the Civil Service Commission July 27, 2015 meeting minutes. All yes, none opposed. Motion approved. REPORTS There were none. UNFINISHED BUSINESS There was none. NEW BUSINESS 1. Removal of Brian Johnson for the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List” Commissioner Gray stated the next order of business was the removal of Brian Johnson from the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List.” Commissioner Gray opened the floor for public comment. Seeing no public comment, a motion was made by Comm. Matinovich, supported by Comm. Gray, to remove Brian Johnson from the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List.” All yes, none opposed. Motion approved. 2. Certify candidates 16-20 on the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List” Commissioner Gray stated the next order of business was to certify candidates 16-20 on the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List”. Commissioner Gray opened the floor for public comment. A motion was made by Comm. Martinovich, supported by Comm. Gray, to certify candidates 16-20 on the “2014 Entry Level Fire Fighter Eligibility List,” Michael Brooker, Jacob Johnson, Joshua Busick, Shaun Hughes, Justin Jones. All yes, none opposed. Motion approved. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. COMMISSION COMMENTS There were no Commission comments. ADJOURNMENT 1 Commissioner Gray adjourned the meeting at 4:06 PM. 2
