1. Call to Order: 1:00pm
2. Roll Call: Carman Hamilton
3. Staff Members Present: Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator; Don Wilkinson,
Building Inspector; Lisa Silkworth, Secretary
4. Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: none
5. Approval of Minutes: Mr. Hamilton approved the minutes from July 9, 2014 meeting.
6. New Business:
a. 250 Graves (Garage)
Issue#EN13-06214
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
stated the house lacks property maintenance. Mr. Hamilton
affirmed the property as a dangerous building and granted thirty
days to bring it into compliance.
b. 34 Maple Terrace (House)
Issue#EN14-21352
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
stated the house lacks property maintenance and utilities. Mr.
Wilkinson noted there were squatters living there with no
utilities. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous
building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance.

Issue#EN14-19023
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property Owner, Mark Dill, representative, present. Don
Wilkinson, Building Inspector, reported the property lacks
property maintenance and has several violations. Mr. Wilkinson
stated the property needs engineering and permits to make the
necessary repairs. Mr. Wilkinson recommended granting sixty
days to bring the building into compliance. Mr. Dill stated the
roof is repaired and the water is not turned on. Mr. Dill has
estimates to make some repairs. Mr. Dill plans to use the
building for non-profit purposes. Mr. Wilkinson pointed out the
roof repair was done without permits. Dennis McKinley, Code
Compliance Administrator, stated he has spoken with the
building owner, Robert Walters, and Mr. Walters does plan on
bringing the building into compliance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed it
as a dangerous building and granted sixty days to bring it into
compliance.
d. 890 W Territorial (Commercial)
Issue#EN14-22777
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
stated the building was heavily damaged by fire. MR. Wilkinson
stated the insurance is working with the property owners. Mr.
Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous building and
granted thirty days to bring it into compliance.
e. 469 Upton (House)
Issue#EN14-22548
Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson
Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
stated the house was heavily damaged by fire. Mr. Wilkinson
stated the cost estimate of repair was over $80,000. Mr.
Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous building and
granted thirty days to bring it into compliance.
