Roll Call: Carman Hamilton 3. Staff Members Present: Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator and Lisa Silkworth, Secretary 4. Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 43 N Union 5. Approval of Minutes: Carman Hamilton approved the meeting minutes from the December 9, 2015. 6. New Business: a. 115 Bowen Ave (House) Issue#EN15-04300 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, Henry Moye, present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant and permits were needed to bring the house into compliance. Mr. Moye stated he intends to make the necessary repairs. Mr. Moye stated some repairs have been completed and he has contacted an electrician. Mr. Moye understands he needs permits. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. b. 42 Gardenia ( house) Issue#EN12-06879 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and Dangerous Buildings Hearing January 13, 2016 Page 2 of 3 lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. c. 135 Magnolia Ave ( House) Issue#EN15-04301 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. d. 19 Scenery ( House) Issue#EN15-04299 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. e. 55 Shepard (House) Issue#EN09-27074 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. f. 43 N Union (Garage) Issue#EN15-04519 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson REMOVED g. 99 Walter (House) Issue#EN15-04302 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and Dangerous Buildings Hearing January 13, 2016 Page 3 of 3 lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. h. 31 N Washington (Commercial) Issue#EN15-05908 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, Jeff Breedlove on behalf of the Church of Scientology, present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the building has been vacant for over 180 days and has been gutted. Jeff Breedlove stated the Church of Scientology has plans to renovate the entire building. The building will be totally renovated. Mr. Breedlove stated he was unsure of the timeline of completion but he did have drawings and plans. Mr. McKinley explained the Dangerous Building process. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring the property into compliance. i. 184 Yale (House) Issue#EN15-04303 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property owner, not present. Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days and lacks maintenance. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted thirty days to bring it into compliance. 7. Public Comments: none 8. Board and Staff Members Comments: none 9.
