Roll Call: Carman Hamilton 3. Staff Members Present: Dennis McKinley, Code Compliance Administrator; Ted Hanson, Chief Building Official; Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector; Lisa Silkworth, Secretary 4. Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: Remove 52 Cleveland and 455 Upton 5. Approval of Minutes: Carman Hamilton approved the minutes from the January 13, 2016 meeting. 6. New Business: a. 52 Cleveland (House) Issue#EN15-04661 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson REMOVED b. 108 Highway (House) Issue#EN15-04659 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days, lacks utilities and lacks property maintenance. Mr. Wilkinson recommended affirming the property as a dangerous building. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous building granting thirty days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. c. 164 North Ave Dangerous Buildings Hearing February 10, 2016 Page 2 of 3 Issue#EN15-04291 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, Patrick Gerard representing the TIA Corp, present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant since 2010 and has had a safety inspection. Mr. Wilkinson stated there have been two permits pulled and two permits cancelled. Mr. Gerard stated new contractors have been hired to pull new permits to replace the ones that were cancelled. Mr. Wilkinson stated the property did meet the qualifications of a dangerous building at this time. Mr. Gerard stated some work has been completed and that All Pro Mechanical will be pulling a new mechanical permit. Mr. Gerard stated the roof is being repaired by Morgan Concrete. An electrical contractor will also be in to pull a permit as well. Mr. Gerard is requesting 60 days to complete the project. Mr. Hamilton clarified that sixty days would be sufficient. Mr. Hamilton granted sixty days to bring the property into compliance. d. 207 Upton (House) Issue#EN15-06340 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant for over 180 days, lacks utilities and lacks property maintenance. Mr. Wilkinson stated the cost of repair is $55,344 and the SEV is $8,391. Mr. Wilkinson recommended affirming the property as a dangerous building. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous building granting thirty days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. e. 455 Upton (Commercial) Issue#EN15-06341 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson REMOVED f. 104 N Woodlawn (House) Issue#EN15-06280 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been heavily damaged by fire. Mr. Hamilton affirmed the property as a dangerous building granting thirty days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. 7. Public Comments: none 8. Board and Staff Members Comments: Mr. McKinley introduced Ted Hanson, Chief Building Official, to the board. 9.
