Special Goguac Lake Board Meeting Department of Public Works 150 S. Kendall Street Room 204 Battle Creek, Michigan, 49037 Thursday, October 11, 2012 4:00PM Present: John Avery, Jeffrey Domenico, Gerardyne Drozdowski Absent: Kathy-Sue Dunn, Larry Cortright Others: Nelson Karre, Ken Kohs, Tony Groves, Camille Smith Call to Order: 4:05 PM Approval of Minutes: Avery made a motion to approve the minutes from September 6, 2012, and September 17, 2012, as presented. Motion so moved by Drozdowski. Support by Domenico and Groves. All yes. Motion carried. Minutes: Karre stated that the primary purpose for the Board meeting is to determine the date for the Public Hearing of the Special Assessment Roll, with the earliest possible date being Monday, November 5, 2012, or thereafter. Avery made a motion to approve the Public Hearing of the Special Assessment Roll be held on November 12, 2012, at 5 PM, in the DPW Building, Room 204. Support by Drozdowski. All yes. Motion carried. Karre recommended a motion to the Board to direct the Battle Creek City Assessor to prepare a Special Assessment Roll, and have it properly noticed. Motion so moved by Avery. Support by Drozdowski. All yes. Motion carried. Karre recommended that the Board approve the practicality and implementation of the work that the Special Assessment will support. Motion so moved by Domenico.
