Rabbitt Chair Notes/Correspondence/Announcements: noted planning commission meeting 6/28, 4pm. Ganton’s housing development and new sign ordinance on agenda Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: none Minutes: Approved March, April, and May 2017 minutes unanimously after a motion by Dave Weaver and seconded by Diana Cole on each item. Police Report: Officer Rabbit presented reports and discussed. Suggested members check out web site IC3.gov for cybercrime information. Public service announcements from commissioners: Commissioner Baldwin announced that the commission had adopted the new city budget, all departments have been asked to reduce overtime. Commission to work on city manager and city attorney reviews. Committee Reports: Membership: Beautiful Battle Creek Award: 8 terry court Lakeview school district: MaryJane Cipcic reported that the district has hosted a farewell to Superintendent Peterson, Prairieview and Minges projects are underway, the junior high roof that was damaged in the spring is being repaired by insurance, and the new superintendent starts 7/1 and has bought a house in the district.
