Call To Order/Time Convened: 7PM
Attendance:
Members: Cynde Foster, Robert J. Kist, Trudy Hall, Cari L. Briggs, Tim Conlogue,

Addition or Deletions to the Agenda: Discussion on Bidwell Neighborhood sign on
Trinity Neighborhood lawn that fell down.
Approval of the Minutes: MOTION by Gloria Mansfield 2nd Jerry Dill to approve the
Minutes of the November 14, 2019 Meeting with the correction of Tim Cole being
Excused. CARRIED
City Staff Reports:
Police Report: by Officer Herbstreith: Stat report sent out to Members. He told us
About the closed Econo Lodge, prostitution is down, services available to the
Homeless, keep house and car doors locked, there is a new Victim Advocate
Available through the BCPD from a Grant, hotel ordinance still being worked on.
A issue of a man riding a loud, orange go-kart, wearing a black motorcycle helmet
On City streets given in our area.
Code Report: James Belmore handed out reports, no snow-no sidewalk complaints;
But, junk & trash can be seen easier or trash cans knocked over by winds. Property
Surveys will begin in April in NPC’s 2, 5, 11.

Commissioner Report: none present
Schools-BCP & Lakeview: none present
Membership (new additions/deletions): none
Beautiful Battle Creek Awards (residential and/or business): R: 551 W. Territorial
Businesses Report: Pharmacy in building corner of Capital & Territorial (old little
Ceasars next to Liberty Mart). New Business going into old BC Burger-Mama’s
Kitchen.
BYRNE GRANT: Budget given. It was discussed as part of the cleanup to be done in
Spring that trash containers (2) be placed by the covered bus stops on Capital SW
In front of Nina’s and entrance to Family Fare.
Old Business to be Finalized: Motion from November Meeting to have corner of
Bidwell and Foster Sts., rezoned from C-3 Intensive Business Districts to R-1C
Single Family Residential District passed the Planning Commission and will be sent
To the City Commission January 21 and February 4 votes. Contact the Commission
With your views.
New Business: Bring your ideas for Name to be put on sign that fell down to next
Months Meeting.
Nominations for next months election of Officers: Chair-Tim Conlogue

New Business for Future Meetings: Invite BCU and Neighborhood Inc. to speak.
