BCPD: Craig handed out April crime report which reflected offenses trending down. Ticketed
clerk at Froggy's for selling vapes to minors and working on discouraging people from parking

Code: Bryan handed out April-May code compliance and inspection issues. Reported new hire
to help with tall grass. Chuck voiced frustration over having to continue to report on the
McKinley St. house. Said E Lansing had tweaked it's ordinances pertaining to junk and trash in
yards that give judges less leeway in extending eventual cleanup. He introduced a motion to
have the city commission expedite the cleanup process. Motion passed. Rebecca solicited
ideas to assist people in avoiding compliance issues. Tanya said the free paint program for
residents involves too many hoops to jump, Pamela got a grant from the state to fix her home,
Kim's church, St Mark Lutheran, has groups that could help. Boonikka wondered if youth
groups would be available to clean up the park along Wagner Drive. Neighborhood Inc. might
be available with help with home repair and maintenance.

Comments: Tanya asked Bryan about street sweeping. Bryan suggested checking with DPW on
their schedule. Mary Lusk listed a number of events that First Presbyterian Church is putting
