Called to Order 707pm
Quorum was not achieved – needed 11, only 10 were present. No official business took
place.
Membership was discussed and how to adjust membership to achieve quorum.
Police report given by Officer Fickle: 17 new hires recently, report reviewed, Q & A session
with Officer
Code Report given by Eric Morris: report reviewed, zoning permits discussed, housing rehab
dollars mentioned, Q&A session with Code
Beautiful Battle Creek Award Address suggested: 36 Bynum Dr (well kept yard, nice build
and accents)
Old Business: followed up on previous questions from Nov and Dec meetings (MDot
cleaning highway was decided by chair to let go, Christmas lights and the ones that are out,
water moratorium by city and balances due)
New Business: each person was encourage to invite a neighbor to the meeting
Commissioner comments: Mr. Ballard recapped his previous meetings, discussed his vote on
marijuana shops, discussed his committee placements, Q&A with commissioner
