Minutes
Rural Southwest Neighborhood Planning Council
Southside Bible Church – corner of S. Minges & Beckley Rd.
Minutes of November 13, 2012 Meeting
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by Harry Zimmerman.
Members and Citizens Present: Robert Harland, Mark Jones, Linda Morris, Ken
Rakoski, Rex Winslow, Shelby Winslow, George Wytko, Sally Wytko, Harry
Zimmerman
City Officials: Planning Supervisor Chris Hilton
Motion made by Linda Morris and seconded by George Wytko to approve the
October minutes.
Chris Hilton distributed the NPC Report and the Crime Search Report.
Old Business: Flyers were distributed about the November 20 NPC Symposium.
George Wytko offered to attend the meeting.
New Business: Discussion regarding the slate of officers for our NPC and small
attendance took place. Since Mike Fatt’s move out of the city our council has been
left without a chairman. Of those in attendance, no one is interested in filling this
position at the present time. We discussed some possibilities for filling this role
including: rotating the chairman, meeting only when issues occur, and meeting
informally. Further discussion will take place at our January meeting. Also, all
members were encouraged to bring someone new to this meeting.
Mark Jones from NPC#4 discussed issues related to his PC and how they affect the
attendance at their meetings.
Meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM.
Next meeting: Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 6:30 pm at Southside Bible Church
unless a special need requires scheduling a December meeting
