Rural Southwest Neighborhood Planning Council St. Peter Lutheran Church Minutes of March 8, 2016 Meeting Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by Linda Morris. Guests were welcomed. Members Present: Robert Harland, Durwood McCleary, Linda Morris, Cindy Snyder, Robert Snyder, George Wytko, Sally Wytko, Harry Zimmerman Members Excused: Kingery Clingenpeel, Laura Clingenpeel, Rex Winslow, Shelby Winslow Neighborhood Guests Present: Linda Andres, Richard B. Hand, Sue Hand, Patricia Petron, City Officials Present: Darren Campbell, City Engineer; Christine Zuzga, Planning Supervisor Approval of Minutes: Motion made by D. McCleary and seconded by B. Snyder to approve the January 12, 2016 minutes. Motion made by George Wytko and seconded by R. Harland to approve the February 9, 2016 minutes. Both motions carried. Public Service Announcements: Officer Craig Kidney passed out the Crimes Report for the month of February. He answered questions regarding IRS phone scams, traffic stop checks, and residency at some apartment complexes and motels. Officer Kidney is being transferred to a different part of the city so we wished him well and thanked him for his service to our NPC. Planning Supervisor, Christine Zuzga distributed NPC Resource Guides and Notebooks. Old Business: Linda reported that the Master Planning Workshop held in February was well done. She encouraged us to attend future sessions. New Business: New recycling containers will be distributed in April. The old orange containers will be collected at this time. Darren Campbell, City Engineer, discussed road treatment which will be done on Lois Drive this year. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM. Motion made by B. Harland, supported by H. Zimmerman. Approved.
