ADJOURNED MEETING
OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYONNE, IN THE COUNTY OF HUDSON,
NEW JERSEY, HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER, MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 630 AVENUE C,
ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 11, 2018.
The Council met at 7:30 P.M.
The Council President Nadrowski announced: “I would like to advise all those present that
notice of this adjourned meeting of the Municipal Council of the City of Bayonne of July 11,
2018 has been provided to the public in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public
Meetings Act of the State of New Jersey. Notice of time and place of was posted and filed with
the City Clerk, and was forwarded to the Jersey Journal and the Star Ledger by on July 9,
2018.”
The Adjourned Meeting of the Municipal Council of the City of Bayonne is now in session.
The Clerk called the roll.
Present were: Council Members Cotter, Gullace, La Pelusa, Perez and Nadrowski.
The Council President led the Pledge of Allegiance.

01. Hearing on appeal of John Kulik from denial of taxi driver’s license.
John Kulik testified that his application for a taxi driver’s license was denied.
He had a license before and drove for three years. He was told, he was denied for
something that happened in 2003-2004.
Lt. Darren Burke of the licensing bureau of the Bayonne Police Department.
Stated that there were 2 felonies convictions, 3rd degree and 4th degree. They also
found he had a suspended license at the time of application.
Mr. Kulik stated his license was reinstated. There were two unresolved sweeper
tickets.
Council Member LaPelusa moved to continue the hearing, seconded by Council Perez,
which motion was adopted.
