Discussion, update, and possible action on the YAB booth at the Bellaire Little League Opening Day - Vice Chair Emma Zadok. 2. Discussion, update, and possible action on a Pickleball Tournament - Board Members Ben Shoss and Luke Loving. 3. Discussion and possible action on the YAB's participation in the Culture and Arts Board Arts & Crafts Festival - Board Members. 4. Update on the YAB's participation in the Environmental Sustainability Board Food Waste Program - Secretary Bella Kalra. 5. Discussion, update, and possible action on an Internship Fair - Board Members. 6. Continued discussion and possible action on suggested projects for the City's Strategic Plan - Board Members. G. New Business: Any YAB Member who wishes to bring New Business to the attention of the YAB shall do so now. Note: Consideration of New Business shall be for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter is appropriate for inclusion on a future Agenda of the YAB or for referral to staff for investigation. March 1st 10:00-12:00 (carnival starts at 11:00, set up at 8:00) a. Potentially doing shifts b. Not many of us can go, decide whether we’ll attend asap E. Volunteer Opportunities 1. Music as Medicine a. Talent show at Bellaire stage area b. Partnering with Bellaire HS Music as Medicine Club 2. Wine and Tappas Event Page 4 of 5  a. March 22, 9:00-12:00 b. Help decorate for the event 3. If volunteered for the Mardi Gras Event, counts as service hours 4. Composting at Condit parking lot counts as hours (every Sunday, 12-3) F. City Strategic Plan 1. We can ask the city for money or different teen programs we’d like to see 2. State/national conferences 3. T shirts 4. Rec teen sports league 5. Getting a well-known artist to do a Bellaire concert/carnival 6. Internships or shadowing people in government a. Summer internship fair, late March/early April b. Have a review committee to look over cover letters, resumes, etc., c. Because summer is coming up, make it job shadowing instead d. Have our parents (among others) volunteer to be shadowed 7. Due soon, each member needs to come back with an idea to add to the City Strategic Plan G. Meeting scheduled for May 26 (Memorial Day) 1. Meeting cancelled H.
