Note: The time allowed shall not exceed 30 minutes, and speakers will be called in order from
the sign-up sheet. If the number of speakers signed up to speak will exceed the 30-minute
period, the Chair is authorized to give preference to (1) persons speaking to items on that
meeting's Agenda or anticipated to come on the Agenda within one month and/or (2) to persons
who have not spoken to Council in the last quarter. A maximum of three persons are permitted
to speak to each side of any one topic.
4. Study Session Items
a) 16-355 Council Business and New Initiatives
b) 16-356 City code requirements for ongoing trip reduction measures at large real estate
developments, also known as Transportation Management Programs (TMP).
(For information and discussion. Recommendations from staff and the
Transportation Commission will be presented, and staff are seeking direction
from Council to return with code amendments at a future meeting.)
c) 16-357 Staff report and recommendation regarding Performing Arts Center Eastside
(“PACE”) Tateuchi Center funding request.
(For discussion and potential action. Staff are seeking feedback on the
negotiated Funding Agreement for approval at a future meeting, and approval
of an amendment to the current schedule, including an extension of the current
fund-raising deadline.)
d) 16-358 Bellevue Smart City Strategy Overview
(For information and discussion. Staff will be presenting the Draft Smart City
Strategy for feedback.)
e) 16-359 Environmental Stewardship Initiative (ESI) Update
