Call to Order

Council Standing Committee Meeting
Open to the public to attend. Note: there is generally no public comment period for Committee
sessions. Standing Committee Members receive reports and information, ask questions and,
when appropriate, vote on a recommended action for consideration by the full Council at the
Regular Meeting. The notice of Committee Meetings identified below also serves as notice of
Special Meetings of the City Council at the times identified as Council Members who are not
members of the committee routinely attend and participate in the Committee Meetings.
Committee Chairs give a report of the Committee Meeting at the Regular Meeting in the
evening prior to deliberation and formal vote in the order shown below:

Habitat Restoration Manager Analiese Burns introduced the presentation. She
was joined by the Washington Conservation Corps crew, who shared what they
have been working on this year. Council thanked the crew for their work.

22399 2. Bid Award for Cornwall Avenue Outfall, EV-0160, Bid #31B-2019 p. 5
Interim Public Works Director Eric Johnston presented the bid award. Council
asked questions and had a discussion following the presentation.
Terry Bornemann moved to recommend approval of the bid award.
MOTION CARRIED 3-0.

Interim Public Works Director Eric Johnston presented the discussion. Council
asked questions and had a discussion following the presentation.
Councilmember Barker moved to ask the mayor to work with staff to bring some
proposals and budget considerations back regarding the Chestnut Bridge Bicycle
Lane. MOTION FAILED 1-2.
