City of Bellingham City Council Special Meeting Minutes 12/17/2014, 7:00 PM Mayor Kelli Linville Contact: (360) 778-8200, ccmail@cob.org Council Members Jack Weiss, Gene Knutson, Pinky Vargas, www.cob.org/council Terry Bornemann, Michael Lilliquist and Roxanne Murphy All meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers at 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, WA unless otherwise noted. Call to Order Roll Call All present. 20687 1. Selection and Appointment of an Interim Ward 3 City Council Member Council President Pro Tem Bornemann explained the process for the selection and appointment. Scot Barg, Iris Maute-Gibson, Daniel Hammill and Michelle Magee, respectively, presented their qualifications. Andrew Reding was not able to attend the meeting but was included in the process for consideration. After the presentations, the Council adjourned to Executive Session to discuss the qualifications of the applicants. No action was taken in executive session. Council President Pro Tem Bornemann called the meeting back to order at 7:43. Council Member Knutson nominated Daniel Hammill for the Interim Ward 3 City Council Member. The Council voted 6-0 in favor of Mr. Hammill.
