TBD BOARD MEMBERS Chair: Gene Knutson Jack Weiss, Daniel Hammill, Pinky Vargas, Terry Bornemann, Michael Lilliquist and Roxanne Murphy CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM by Chair Gene Knutson. ROLL CALL Gene Knutson, Jack Weiss, Daniel Hammill, Pinky Vargas, Terry Bornemann, Michael Lilliquist and Roxanne Murphy Also Present: Brian Henshaw, TBD Secretary/Treasurer Matt Stamps, TBD Legal Representative (sitting in for Peter Ruffatto) Ted Carlson, Public Works Director Agenda Items 1. Resolution of 2016 funding amount for WTA transit contract Presented by Matt Stamps and Brian Henshaw. This is a one year extension. There are two options presented on Attachment A that are predicated on estimated hours and rates. Weiss/Bornemann moved to recommend approval of the modification of the first extension with provision of the second box on page five of the packet MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 1 2. Discussion of transit reserve funding Presented by Ted Carlson. The TBD money is spent in thirds: one-third for arterial resurfacing, one-third for non-motorized, and one-third for transit. There is always a reserve in the transit portion after services are paid for. It is $1.5 million on average. The TBD Board wants to wait to make spending decisions until it knows how much money is available in the reserves. The Board would also like to receive more information on the cost of quiet zones. 3. TBD Project Update Presented by Chris Comeau INFORMATION ONLY 4. Interlocal agreement for Bellis Fair transit stop improvements Weiss/Vargas moved to recommend approval of the interlocal agreement MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 5. Approval of Minutes Lilliquist/Weiss moved approval of the 3-23-15 minutes as submitted MOTION CARRIED 7-0. Meeting adjourned at approximately 12:40 PM. 2
